Race Day 2006
Dear High School High Rollers,
Following a very successful dip in the water last year, The first fully-fledged RHSCL Annual Race Day at Sandown Park on Saturday June 17th proved to be a big success. This event was very much a family outing, with partners and children participating enthusiastically. A wager on Angus Newz (after our son) and a couple of other lucky picks ensured your webmaster's family came out ahead. Ace punter Al was playing things close to his chest, but looked reasonably happy at the end of the day.
We got a good deal to gain entry to the premier stand this year, and Al will investigate booking a private box for 2008.
Irish bookmakers, Paddy Power, sponsored the entire day's racing, with plenty of Guinness available for thirsty punters.
