The Assembly Hall at Barnton

The memorial doors from the old Regent Road Hall were transferred at enormous expense to grace the Barnton Hall. Perhaps less striking than the old hall, I bet those seats were much more comfortable, and the stage made the drama teacher's life easier. However the mock parliamentry atmosphere for the debates which were the training ground for budding politicians and lawyers, must surely have been lost.
