What we do

The Royal High School Club in London (RHSCL) meets formally twice a year, in November, for the Annual Buffet, and in March, for the Annual Dinner. 2005 witnessed the Inaugural RHSCL Race Day. We hope to add one other less formal club fixture to the RHSCL social calendar.

The Club also joins in with the SCOTS IN LONDON (SIL) network, created by RHSCL Secretary, Eddie Tait, for SIL Quarterly Drinks and Entertainments evenings, sporting events and are active on London Scottish School scene where events are organised in conjunction with other Edinburgh schools and by "Scots in London" and affiliated Scots clubs (ceilidhs, golf, dinners, joint pub evenings etc). Our events are well attended by a wide cross section of former pupils. Members are also kept informed of Scottish events, which may also be of interest via the Scots in London monthly newsletter/email distribution/website. The SIL Quarterly Drinks and Entertainment evenings are very popular. (200+ attendees).

The Club's abridged e-mail newsletter is available free to members and non-members. It is easy to unsubscribe should you decide you no longer wish to receive it. Contact the the Club Secretary to get yourself on the list.

And finally...
...we would like to hear from you if you have any suggestions / comments on the newsletter, events, new ideas etc. Please let us know if you're doing anything or involved in something, which may be of interest to others and we'll include it in the next newsletter. It's your Club so please do not hesitate to keep in touch and take part. How about a special version of the school song in midi or MP3 format? Anyone fancy having a go?
