From Harold Pinter&#8217;s &#8220;The Dumb Waiter&#8221; in 1963, Othello in 1964, Anouilh&#8217;s Becket in 1966, &#8220;The Physicists&#8221; by Friedrich Durrenmatt to a production of the considerably racy &#8220;One More River&#8221; by Beverly Cross around 1969. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The RHS Dramatic Society had no difficulty in attracting speakers such as Ronnie Corbett and Richard Eyre.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The University&#8217;s Edinburgh Festival c1971 hit production of Joe Orton&#8217;s &#8220;What The Butler Saw\u201d featured the late Ian Charleson and Alan Bisset and was directed by John Melville.
