{"id":3992,"date":"2021-11-15T12:09:14","date_gmt":"2021-11-15T12:09:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.royalhigh.org.uk\/?p=3992"},"modified":"2021-11-15T12:25:45","modified_gmt":"2021-11-15T12:25:45","slug":"the-janitors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.royalhigh.org.uk\/wordpress\/the-janitors\/","title":{"rendered":"The Janitors"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No history of the School is complete without mention of the Janitors who have played a prominent role in school life since 1694. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Several have been ex-servicemen, notably Falconer, Percy Campbell 1954-1963 (a sub-mariner and POW for 5 years) and James Fulton MBE 1964-1968 (also a POW).&nbsp; Pupils at the school in 60&#8217;s will remember the loud sergeant major shout of &#8220;Hands!&#8221; should they be spotted with their hands in their pockets by James Fulton.
