On Monday the 11th of December thirteen members of the Royal High School Club in London met up in the Iron Duke pub in Mayfair for our Christmas party. The bar staff had reserved some tables for us in a cosy corner, near to the bar, and we settled down for a relaxed evening of drinks and good conversation. Club President Richard Steedman kindly donated an excellent bottle of Château Batailley claret for the first prize in the raffle and the lucky winner was Club Webmaster Will Dunnett. Other lucky raffle winners took home miniature whiskies, miniature gins and festive chocolates. The evening wound down around 9:00 p.m. and we then made our way through the brightly-lit West End streets to the nearest underground station.
