Valerie left the school in 1980 and has provided valuable input to the committee and helped with the planning of our events, in particular our September 2010 wine and tapas evening at Bacchanalia which was a big success with those attending.
I was at the Royal High from 1966 to 1972 and I was very keen on sport. I played rugby for the 1st XV that won all of its matches in the 1971-72 season and I also played cricket for the 1st XI for three years. After school I studied at the LSE and then spent my working career in computing. I worked for BT for 25 years in a variety of roles until I retired in 2013. I now spend my time coaching the juniors at Hertford Cricket Club and acting as Secretary to the Royal High School Club in London. I am always keen to hear from any former pupils of the Royal High who live in the London area – they can contact me on 01992-554854 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Eric grew up near the RHS in Barton and attended in the late 70s/early 80s. He has been based in Edinburgh, Stockholm, and now Surrey, where he enjoys on- and off-road cycling. Eric is a long-standing member of the London club.
Attended the school at Jocks Lodge, Regent Road and Barnton, before leaving in 1969 to read Physics at Heriot Watt University.
