A meeting of the Edinburgh Council on 7th December 2022 has approved some changes to the redevelopment plan for the Old Royal High School. The intention is still to create a National Centre for Music – the changes approved on 7th December will allow more natural light into the building and will create a separate entrance for the pupils of St Mary’s Music School.
It sounds like the redevelopment plan can now proceed to the construction stage.
